�� � <br />Attachment A <br />JOINT POWERS AGREEMENT <br />FOR THE CITY QF ROSEVILLE EXTENSxON OF MIS SERVTCES AND <br />SUPPORT TO CiT'Y OF FOREST LAKE <br />THIS AGREEMENT, entered into by and between the CITY OF ROSEVTLLE, a <br />Minnesota municipal corparation ("Roseville"), and CITY OF FORES�' LAKE a Minnesota <br />municipal cozporat�on ("Forest Lake"}, is effective upon the execution of this Agreement by the <br />named officers of both entities. <br />RECITALS <br />WHEREAS, Roseville has an established Infarmation Technolagy Department and <br />technical employees that are ab�e to provide tlle services requested by Forest �,ake, and; <br />WHEREAS, Roseville has an existing Micrasaft Windows Active Directory networking <br />domain including Microsoft Exchange messaging systems; <br />WHEREAS, Porest Lake rs in need of infornlation technalogy and network related <br />services anc� suppart, and;. <br />WHEREA,S, Minnesota Statute 471.59 authorizes palitical subdivisions of the State to <br />enter into Joint 1'owers Agreements for the joint exercise of pawers common to each. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, it is nlutually stipulated and agreed to as foliows: <br />1. SERVICES. <br />A. Roseville snall pravicle qualified managernent information ,systems employees of <br />�oseville ("Employees") to perform camputer; network and reIated technical services required <br />by Forest Lake. These services include the following: <br />+ User access to Active Directory services, includi�ig MS �xchange Messaging and <br />SharePaint Services, subject to g�oba� security policies and procedures. <br />sis�� <br />
