Motion carried: 4/0/1 (Jaeger) <br />Corrections: <br />• Page 6, line 15 (Jaeger) <br />Correct reference to "mother-in-law," rather than "mother." <br />24 II. Update on Community Forum Planning <br />25 Staff Liaison Carolyn Curti reviewed the written report of the Planning Subcommittee included <br />26 in the Agenda Packet. Ms. Curti gave members copies of the forum flyers to distribute, in <br />27 addition to those being distributed by members of the forum planning committee. <br />28 <br />29 Discussion included money in-hand and that for which commitments had been received, as well <br />30 as anticipated funds; speakers, proposed topics, and questions for the break-out ("village") <br />31 sessions; costs of food for this forum versus those of the 2008 forum; possibility of seeking <br />32 donations if necessary and/or charging a minimal fee to participants; and no cost for room rental <br />3 3 for the event. <br />34 <br />35 Ms. Curti noted potential legal limitations for the City asking for donations; and advised that she <br />36 would research any issues and provide a response to the HRC. <br />37 <br />38 The Planning Subcommittee anticipated meeting once more if necessary, in addition to e-mailing <br />39 various logistical points as required; with a final report at the October HRC meeting. <br />40 <br />41 Chair Singleton thanked the Planning Subcommittee for their work and his anticipation in seeing <br />42 the final plan. <br />43 <br />44 III. .Discussion of September 28 meeting with City Council <br />
