�030 Regional Deveiapment �ramework and Land Use <br />Reviewer: Tori Dupre, CD - Local Planning Assistance (65i-602-1621) <br />The llpdate is consisten� with the 2030 Regional Develapm�nt Framework (RDF), <br />which identifies Roseville as a community i� the "Devel�ped" geographic planning <br />area. The RDF goafs a�d poficies For "Developed" communities accommoda�e <br />growth forecasts through reinvestment at appropriat� densities (5 units plus in <br />de�eloped areas) and target higher density in Eocations with can�enient acc�ss to <br />transpartation corridars and with adequate sanitary sewer capacity. <br />The Council �xpects t�e Gity to meet densities of at least five units an acre thraugh. <br />redeveiopment and infill. Ti�e Council is developing a moni�oring prograrn, similar to <br />the plat monitoring program for develapi�g areas, and encourages the City to <br />participate by reporting redeve�opment infarmation. <br />The City is �ully devefoped, is appraximatefy 8,860 acres in size, and as a first-ring <br />suburb, more than 75 percent of its residential developrnent was built by 1970. <br />Oniy �wo percent of the City's residential development was built afte�- 2000. <br />Public and semi-public uses accupy 39 perc�nfi of the City and include the I-�5W <br />and Nighvuay 36 corridors, parks and institutions such as private colleges. <br />Residen�ial is the secand largest use at 38 percent of the City. In 2008, the City <br />had 15,98i housing u�its arid of this, 53 per�ent were single family detached <br />hames.
