Article 4. Plan Contributions and Benefit Costs <br />Section 4.1 Benefit Costs. The cost of any benefit elected by a Participant shall be paid <br />for through the Participant's available Employer contributions, if any, or Pay Conversion <br />Contributions as described below. <br />Section 4.2 Pay Conversion Contributions. Each Participant shall designate a portion of <br />the Participant's Compensation as Pay Conversion Contributions to cover the employee cost of <br />all benefits that are elected by the Participant under this Plan, other than those that may be paid <br />for by any Employer contributions available to such Participant under Section 4.3. Except as <br />otherwise provided by the Employer, Pay Conversion Contributions shall reduce the Participant's <br />Compensation pro rata on each day during the Plan Year following the effective date of the <br />Participant's participation. The election to participate in the Employer sponsored health plan, <br />dental plan, life insurance plan and/or the Health Savings Account (HSA) shall authorize the <br />appropriate payroll deductions. <br />Section 4.3 Employer Contributions. In its sole discretion, the Employer may make <br />contributions to the Plan on behalf of the Participants. Any such contributions shall be made at <br />an annual rate determined by the Employer. A pro rata portion of such contributions shall be <br />contributed on such date or dates during the Plan Year as the Employer determines in its sole <br />discretion. Employer contributions shall be made only on behalf of Participants who are <br />currently employed by the Employer on the date that the contribution is made.
