See Attachment D to review this letter. <br />On August 25, 2009, the Metropolitan Council granted approval of the City's 2030 <br />Comprehensive Plan and Tier II Comprehensive Sewer Plan. See Attachment E to review <br />the approval letter. <br />63 Attachment F is a draft resolution to adopt the 2030 Comprehensive Plan. As part of that <br />64 resolution, the Council is also adopting the Tier II Comprehensive Sewer Plan. This plan is <br />65 integrated into the Comprehensive Plan. Metropolitan Council requires that its adoption is <br />66 specifically act to adopt this element of the Comprehensive Plan in order to be in compliance <br />67 with State statute. <br />68 POLICY OBJECTIVE <br />69 Adopting the 2030 Comprehensive Plan fulfills the requirements of the Minnesota Land <br />70 Planning Act for a decennial update of the Comprehensive Plan. This Plan updates the goals and <br />71 policies for the City to be reflective of the community vision identified through the Imagine <br />72 Roseville 2025 process. <br />73 <br />74 <br />75 <br />76 <br />77 <br />78 <br />79 <br />BUDGET IMPLICATIONS <br />There are no budget implications associated with adopting the Comprehensive Plan. <br />STAFF RECOMMENDATIONS <br />Staff recommends that the City Council adopt the 2030 Comprehensive Plan and Tier II <br />Comprehensive Sewer Plan.
