Regular City Council Meeting <br />Monday, November 16, 2009 <br />Page 7 <br />Roe moved, Thlan seconded, enactment of an Ordinance entitled, "An Ordinance <br />Adopting the 2010 Fee Schedule (Attachment A)," as presented and detailed in <br />the Request for Council Action dated November 16, 2009 (Attachment B); <br />amended to defer to 2009 fees for commercial sewer fees <br />Councilmember Roe concurred that the DVDNHS fee was too high at $15; but <br />suggested that the Fee Schedule could be amended at any time. <br />Mayor Klausing expressed concern in the City Council micro-managing staff ef- <br />forts to cover costs; noting that there was a budget shortfall yet to be addressed. <br />However, Mayor Klausing expressed his willingness to accept the motion as it <br />stands. <br />Ihlan moved, Roe seconded, amending the DVDNHS fee from the proposed $15 <br />to $5. <br />Roll Call <br />Ayes: Roe; Pust; Ihlan; and Klausing. <br />Nays: Johnson. <br />Motion carried. <br />Ihlan moved to remove the sidewalk and pathway patching fee. <br />The Chair declared the motion failed for lack of a second. <br />Mayor Klausing clarified the original motion as amended: including Engineering- <br />related fees for Plan Review and Permits remaining as recommended by staff at <br />$268; and Attachment B amended to defer to 2009 fees for commercial, water, <br />sewer and fence connection fees and reducing the DVDNHS copy fees from the <br />staff-recommended $15 to $5. <br />Orisinal Motion (as amended) <br />Roe restated the original motion and moved, Johnson seconded, enactment of Or- <br />dinance No. 1387 entitled, "An Ordinance Adopting the 2010 Fee Schedule (At- <br />tachment A)," as presented and detailed in the Request for Council Action dated <br />November 16, 2009 (Attachment B); amended to defer to 2009 fees for commer- <br />cial connection fees for water, sewer and fences at 2009 fees. <br />Councilmember Roe and Mr. Miller clarified, that currently the cost of sidewalk <br />and/or pathway patching was the responsibility of individual homeowners in its <br />entirety. <br />Roll Call <br />Ayes: Roe; Pust; Johnson; and Klausing. <br />Nays: Ihlan. <br />Motion carried. <br />10.
