The Department breaks aver�ime <br />into seven categories: Administration, Cour�, Train�ng, Investigations, L.ate Call, <br />Holiday and Field Training Officer (FTO). <br />Administratian- Generally com�rised of fulfillir�g department Minim�m Siaffing <br />guidelfnes, grant funded acti�ities, Expforer Program advisors' compensation and <br />other minar categories <br />Court- Mandatory at#endance at court during off duty hours <br />Trair�ina- Attendance at trair�ing during off duty ho�rs <br />Investiqatians- Major crime scene respons� and follow up in�estigations by <br />detec�i�es during off duty haurs <br />Late Call- Completion of investigafion and report writing after scheduled shift ends <br />Holiday- On duty personnel working contract defined holidays <br />FTO= Hours accrued by Department's Field Training Officers while actively training a <br />recru it <br />O�ertime Training- A summary of th� o�er�ime accrued by afficers and sergeanfs <br />due �o mandatory tra�ning in 2009 based on 2009 l�ours and personnel, projected at <br />a 2010 median overtime rate for sworn officers. <br />Other Police De artment's Overtime Bud ets- A summary dacument of over�ime <br />budgets for fi�e comparable departments and one neighboring suburb <br />
