G. <br />Agenda Section: <br />Consent <br />Item Description: Adoption of State to City - Municipal Delegation Agreement for Building <br />Codes Administration on Public Buildings and State Licensed Facilities <br />1.0 REQUESTED ACTION <br />The Council by motion annually establishes the City of Roseville as the administratorof the State <br />Building Code on "Public Buildings" and "State LicensedFacilities". <br />The city has numerous public facilities (schools) and state owned (MnDOT), licensed (nursing <br />homes, etc.), and/or leased facilities (Department of Education) within the City of Roseville, all <br />of which need adequate building code enforcement and life safety inspections. <br />The State has reviewed the organization, capacity, the technical capabilities, and training of the <br />Roseville Community Development-building inspection staff and approved offering this <br />agreement to the City. <br />2.0 SUGGESTED CITY COUNCIL ACTION <br />By motion, approve of the agreement and provide direction to the City Manager, on behalf <br />of the City, to sign and deliver the agreement to the State of Minnesota Department of <br />Administration. <br />Attachment: Municipal Delegation Agreement <br />55V i��: nrrvr�e.'J n cp�b nn a�n I e��� n Lk� k�fll ll lh�# R`Ci1j� 4�'¢} �UC <br />
