�} �" �'� � <br />���� ..�ijY Y <br />t�' _ <br />� ' ; � � � Departmentof Administration <br />��� <br />Municipal Delegation Agreement <br />for Building Codes Administration on <br />Public Buildings & State Licensed Facilities <br />Building Official, <br />Munson, Donald J. <br />2660 Civic Center Drive <br />Roseville MN 55113 <br />Date: 1211712003 <br />This Agreement is being sent to the City of Roseville <br />in order to establish administration of the State Building Code on "Pu�blic Buildings" and "State <br />Licensed Facilities" within your jurisdiction. Please review this Agreement, complete page 2, and <br />return both pages to this division. If the offered level of code administration is not what you applied <br />for, you are welcome to contact us in order to review our determination and your building <br />department staffing in greater detail. Should that review con�7rm your request, our agreement with <br />your municipality will be changed accordingly. If staffing or other circumstances change that could <br />affect your ability to properly administer the code, it is your responsibility to notify us accordingly. <br />WHEN EXECUTED, this Agreement shall serve as an agreement pursuant to Minnesota <br />Statute 16B.61 Subd. la, between City ofRoseville <br />and the Commissioner of Administration for transfer of State Building Code Administration <br />from the Minnesota Department of Administration to the municipality for "Public Buildings" <br />and State Licensed Facilities" described in M.S. 16B.60 Subd. 6 and Subd. 11. <br />This agreement may be refused or revoked by the Commissioner of Administration if its been <br />determined by the commissioner that according to M.S. 16B.61, any of the following occurs: <br />l� The building official does not meet the requirements of section 16B.65 <br />�� The building official does not wish to provide those services on one or more projects <br />3� The municipality does not have enough adequately trained and qualified building <br />inspectors to provide those services <br />This includes the right of the Commissioner to withhold a specificproject from the <br />municipality if the Commissioner determines that "the municipality does not have enough <br />adequately trained and qualified building inspectors to provide those services" for.that <br />proj ect. <br />The building official also reserves the right to defer administration of the code on a specific <br />project back to the Division by notifying them in writing within 5 working days of receiving <br />theproject jurisdiction agreement. <br />Page 1 of 2 <br />Building Codes and Standards Division, 408 Metro Square Building, 121 7th Place East, St. Paul, MN 55101-2181 <br />Voice: 651.296.4639; Fax: 651.297.1973; TTY: 1.800.627.3529 and ask for 296.9929 <br />
