DRAFT <br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was held on the 26�' day of January, 2004, at 6:30 p.m. <br />The following members were present: Klausing, Kough, Maschka, and Schroeder <br />and the following were absent: None <br />Council Member introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT I N ACCORDANCE <br />WITH SECTION 1005.04C17 AND 1013.A1D OF T HE ROSEVILLE CITY CODE FOR <br />SPEEDWAY SUPERAMERICA,2172 LEXINGTON AVENUE (PF3524). <br />WHEREAS, Speedway SuperAmerica has requested a Conditional Use Permit in <br />accordance with Section 1���_���'17 and 1013.01 of the Roseville City Code to allow a 2,200 <br />sq. ft. portion of the existing convenience store to be converted into an off-sale liquor store; and <br />WHEREAS, the properiy in question is the Speedway SuperAmerica site at 2172 <br />Lexington Avenue, legally described as: <br />Requires Correct Legal Description <br />PIN: 11-29-23-33-0065 <br />WHEREAS; the proposal by Speedway SuperAmerica seeks to convert 2,200 sq. fi. of <br />the existing general merchandising sales area into a separate off-sale liquor store witl� a separate <br />exterior access; and <br />WHEREAS, Section 1013 establishes the criteria for reviewing conditional u�e permits, <br />which is as follows: <br />�. Compatibility with the City's Comprehensive Plan <br />WHEREAS, City staff has reviewed the proposed additional use to the existir <br />Speedway SuperAmerica facility and concluded the proposal meets these criteria.
