Regular City Council Meeting— 02/09/04 <br />DRAFT Minutes - Page 30 <br />James Addition Neighborhood to the Twin Lakes Stakeholder <br />Panel. <br />Councilmember Schroeder spoke against the appointment, citing <br />Mr. Sands' involvement in the community already, and <br />preferring another representative for broader representation. <br />Councilmember Kough spoke for the appointment, noting that <br />Mr. Sands' was personally associated with him, but didn't factor <br />into his selection as an appointee. <br />Roll Call <br />Ayes: Ihlan, Maschka, Kough and Klausing. <br />Nays: Schroeder. <br />Members at Large <br />Mayor Klausing sought consensus on expanding this category to <br />two (2) members; Councilmembers concurred. <br />Annointee #1 of 2 <br />Maschka moved, Kough seconded, appointment of Dan Roe, <br />2100 Avon Street N, as resident representative at-large to the <br />Twin Lakes Stakeholder Panel. <br />Roll Call <br />Ayes: Ihlan, Schroeder, Maschka, Kough and Klausing. <br />Nays: None. <br />Appointee #2 of 2 <br />Schroeder moved, Kough seconded, appointment of Dave <br />Rustad, 329 South Owasso Boulevard, as resident representative <br />at-large to the Twin Lakes Stakeholder Panel. <br />Councilmember Schroeder spoke in support of the motion, <br />opining Mr. Rustad's enterprising real estate knowledge and <br />valuable asset to the panel. Councilmember Schroeder noted that <br />Mr. Rustad had some businesses in Little Canada, but <br />Councilmember Schroeder had not personally dealt with him. <br />Councilmember Kough spoke in support of the motion, noting <br />that Mr. Rustad visited him during his Council office hours at <br />City Hall; and Councilmember Kough opined Mr. Rustad's <br />
