Regular City Council Meeting — 02/09/04 <br />DRAFT Minutes - Page 36 <br />Schroeder moved, Maschka seconded adoption of Resolution <br />No. 10202 entitled, "Resolution Establishing the 2004 Fee <br />Schedule." <br />Roll Call <br />Ayes: Ihlan, Schroeder, Maschlca, Kough and Klausing. <br />Nays: None. <br />9. Report and Discussion about Liquor Licenses and <br />Roseville <br />Finance Director Miller, at Councilmember Kough's <br />provided a report in tonight's pacicet responding to <br />requirements for bars, nightclubs, and bowling alleys. <br />Bars in Report and <br />Discussion about <br />request, Liquor Licenses <br />special and Bars in <br />Roseville <br />Mr. Miller noted that, subsequent to Council's previous direction <br />to develop legislation seel�ing an increase in the City's on-sale <br />liquor licenses, staff had learned that laws regarding the <br />limitation of on-sale liquor licenses were loosened in the 2003 <br />legislative session, and reported to Councilmembers under <br />separate cover. <br />Mr. Miller reviewed revised definitions of on-sale liquor licenses <br />related to liquor-only establishments, and was not inclusive of <br />restaurants, and is based on the seating capacity and gross sales <br />attributable to food services. <br />Discussion included the need to review both on and off-sale <br />licenses; their relationship to locations within the City; and <br />saturation rates in neighborhoods. <br />Kough moved, Maschka seconded, to rescind Councilmember <br />Kough's motion from a previous meeting to seelc additional <br />licensing authority. <br />Roll Call <br />Ayes: Ihlan, Schroeder, Maschlca, Kough and Klausing. <br />Nays: None. <br />10.
