Special Joint Study Session: Roseville Citizen Commission Chairs, Department Heads, City Council <br />Saturday, 02/07/04, Harriet Alexander Nature Center, 2520 North Dale Street, Roseville, MN <br />DRAFT Discussion Notes - Page 4 <br />City's institutional network connecting our city and <br />educational facilities provided by local cable franchise, and <br />allowing for voice and data over a high-speed network at <br />virtually no cost; and reduced department staffing from <br />eleven (11) to six (6) employees due to technology. <br />Mr. Miller noted that from a service level standpoint, the <br />community was getting closer to having a 2417, 365 day <br />City government; more functions accommodated on the <br />website, with continual streamlining done; and <br />acknowledged the need to keep abreast of changing <br />legislation, public/private partnership opportunities and <br />maintaining a good relationship with the Roseville business <br />community, and tap into their business expertise. <br />1.
