Ciiy of Roseville Roof Spec, Inc. <br />Revised proposal for roof consulting services Proposal #PO4-7446R <br />March 1,2004 Page 2 <br />Based on the drafting survey, a plan view and pertinent detail drawings will be developed for the re- <br />roofing. Bidding documents will be prepared identifying the demolition of the existing roof assembly, <br />deck remediation including cleaning and coating of the existing metal deck and replacement of decking <br />at those areas where it is distressed, and the installation of vapor retarder, thermal insulation materials, <br />and roof inembrane application. <br />At 90% complete, the bidding documents and details will be provided to the City of Roseville for <br />review and approval. Upon approval, an advertisementfor bids will be developed for publication. A <br />pre-bid meeting will then be conducted with all interested contractors and City of Roseville personnel in <br />order to discuss the r�-roofing of the project. <br />Roof Spec personnel will then be present during the bid opening for tabulation purposes. If requested, <br />Roof Spec can prepare the appropriate AIA contract documents. However, it is anticipated that the <br />City of Roseville will wish to prepare their own contract for signature by the selected contractor. <br />Estimated Fee: $8,000.00 <br />As discussed, we would recommend that this portion of the proj ect be expedited to take advantage of <br />the early season pricing. Further, once the actual scope of wark is determined, a separate proposal for <br />the project management can be developed. <br />If you find this proposal acceptable, please sign both copies of the attached Authorization to Proceed <br />and Indemnification and Waiver Relating to Asbestos and return them to our office at your earliest <br />convenience.
