D�r�e; �1�� <br />r�: �.� <br />��11�'s SI■1sr}� �■� <br />Roseville Proclamation <br />Women's History Month <br />March 2004 <br />Whereas: the City of Roseville is committed to recognizing and honoring the <br />contributions of all members of our community; and <br />Whereas: Women's History Weelc was established in 1978 to promote women's <br />historical achievements; and <br />Whereas: In 1980 the Joint Congressional Resolution declared the weelc of March 8 as <br />National Women's History Weelc; and ' <br />Whereas: This movement continues to grow to accurately recognize and celebrate <br />women's contributions to the world; and <br />Whereas: In 1987 Congress expanded the celebration of women's contributions to the <br />entire month of March; and <br />Whereas: The 2004 National Women's History Month theme "Women Inspiring Hope <br />and Possibility" celebrates the hope and possibilities that come to our lives from the <br />inspirational worlcs of women; and <br />Whereas: the Roseville Human Rights Commission celebrates the outstanding <br />contributions that women have made to the City of Roseville. <br />Now, Therefore Be It Resolved, that the City Council hereby declare March 2004 to be <br />Women's History Month in the City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, State of Minnesota, <br />U.S.A <br />In Witness Whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the Seal of the City of <br />Roseville to be affixed this 8th day of March 2004. <br />Mayor Craig D.
