Here is a breakdown of how
the funds were spent.
Budget: $2,500
Salary: $1,740 (108.75 hours)
Mailing: 182
Supplies: 395
Food & Beverage: 46
Total Spent: 2,363
Amount Remaining in budget: 137
Donations
The project received a check from the North American Banking Company, payable to the City of
Roseville, in the amount of $500. Also, Ramsey County and MNDOT gave the project about 300
orange and yellow garbage bags. Ed Obeda donated pop and juice. Stephanie Tyree from No.
Heights Lutheran Church donated 5-6 pairs of gloves.
Requested Council Action
The Committee believes this is a worthwhile effort, and it will take time to build a base of
volunteers. The Committee requests that the Council give consideration to annual funding for this
project. Perhaps next year for "Keep RosevilleBeautiful" month the campaign can be kicked off
with a Litter Pick-Up Event with smaller coordinated pick-up dates to follow throughout the month
of April.
