City Council Regular Meeting — 05/10/04 <br />DRAFT Minutes - Page 5 <br />noted that if a citizen wished to file a written complaint <br />against a Councilmember or the City Manager, they filed a <br />written complaint with the City Attorney's office, at which <br />time they will be investigated. <br />Mr. Beets specifically addressed the television report as it <br />related to the City of Roseville's Fire Chief, and his review <br />of the tape of the report as well as his conversation with the <br />Fire Chief, and clarified the report presented by Mr. <br />Rossini noting that the Brooklyn Park Fire Chief had <br />allegedly sought to "borrow" additional equipment from <br />area cities to satisfy Insurance Services Organization <br />auditing and potential ratings, as was reported. Mr. Beets <br />further clarified that the report was alleging unprofessional <br />behavior by the Brooklyn Park Fire Chief, not the Roseville <br />Fire Chief, and that the City's Fire Chief had been told that <br />the equipment was needed for "training purposes." <br />Mayor Klausing suggested that if Mr. Rossini thought there <br />was something unethical on the City of Roseville Fire <br />Chief's part that he file a written complaint as outlined by <br />Mr. Beets earlier. <br />Edward Obeda, 2910 N Asbury Street <br />Mr. Obeda addressed previous comments related to taxes in <br />Roseville, opining that residents were fairly taxed for the <br />services the community received. Mr. Obeda further <br />opined, as a forty-year resident of Roseville, he'd been a <br />willing taxpayer, and citizens had voted for their City <br />Council and were going to support them. <br />2.
