CONCLUSIONS <br />1. The project must be reviewed and approved by the Minnesota Department of <br />Transportation by September 30,2004. <br />2. The City must meet the standards laid out in the "Minnesota Bicycle Transportation <br />Planning and Design Guidelines" manual in order to talce advantage of Federal Funding. <br />3. Only construction costs are eligible for funding through Federal Surface Transportation <br />Program Pathway funds. The total federal funding available is $2,250,000 (80%) with a <br />minimum City matching obligation of $450,000 (20%) plus engineering and right- of- <br />way costs. <br />4.
