City Council Study Session — 06/21/04 <br />DRAFT Minutes - Page 31 <br />"Distinguished Budget Presentation Award" by the <br />Government Finance Officers Association <br />City Manager Beets noted that, only 18 cities or towns out of <br />approximately 900 communities were recognized as recipients of <br />this award. Mr. Beets advised that the City of Roseville had <br />been named a recipient of the "Distinguished Budget <br />Presentation Award" by the Government Finance Officers <br />Association; and commended the work of Finance Director Chris <br />Miller and his entire department. City Manager Beets noted the <br />press release recognizing this achievement. <br />Councilmember Maschka recommended that, upon receipt of the <br />award, Mr. Miller and staff be recognized at a future Council <br />meeting, as per tradition. <br />13.
