Mr. Brokke also expressed appreciation to the various City departments, paid and volunteer staff who monitored public safety and worked "behind the scenes" during the event, and thanked the City Council for allowing the parade to continue. Ms. Berry recognized the many volunteers and committee members, in particular the sub-chairpersons and their commitment to the annual event. Ms. Berry noted that this year's parade featured 105 units; and expressed appreciation to the numerous sponsors and continued community support.
