St�te <br />certific tion lasse for fire department members, such as Firefighter 1 and Firefighter 2, are provided <br />�� An�k� Technic�l College, by virtue of its delegated authority from the Board of Trustees of the <br />Minnesota State Colleges and Universities. <br />The Roseville Fire Department contracts customized training services from Anoka Technical College <br />for a variety of firefighting, hazardous materials, and rescue training programs. A listing of course <br />offerings is attached hereto. The Roseville Fire Department has been contracting these services with <br />Anoka Technical College for several years and we are pleased with the services being provided. This <br />request is for the annual renewal of the contract, pursuant to a requirement from the State of <br />Minnesota. <br />Policv Implications: The City of Rosevillewould renew its customized training services contract <br />with Anoka Technical College for fire and rescue related courses. <br />Financial: The cost of each course varies with the length and complexity of the program. This <br />contract is for all teaching services with a cumulative total r�c�t t� ��c���d ��,��0. Funding would <br />come from the fire department training budget. <br />Staff Recommendation: Staff recommendation is for council to approve the renewal of this training <br />contract with Anoka Technical College. <br />Council Action Requested: Motion to approve the renewal of the Minnesota State Colleges and <br />Universities Customized Training Income Contractwith Anoka Technical College. <br />
