City Council Regular Meeting — 08/09/04 DRAFT Minutes - Page 8 On behalf of the City Council and the citizens of Roseville, Mayor Klausing proclaimed Friday, September 24, 2004, as Roseville Kiwanis Peanut Day and presented proclamation. Peanuts free of charge to Councilmembers and members of the audience. Kiwanis representatives expressed appreciation to the City Council for their continued support of Peanut Day. S.b Recognition of Anchor Bank of Arden Hills and the Roseville Visitors Association (RVA) for Sponsorship of the 2004 July 4th Fireworks Display Parks and Recreation Director Lonnie Brokke individually reviewed the significant contribution provided by sponsors in enhancing the programs, services and facilities in the Roseville community and surrounding area. Present were Dino Libidos, representing the RVA; and Kevin Kelly and Suzette Hainsworth, representing Anchor Bank. On behalf of the City Council and the citizens of Roseville, Mayor Klausing recognized the significant financial contributions of the Anchor Bank of Arden Hills, and the Roseville Visitors Association (RVA) Dino Libidos for their sponsorship of the July 4, 2004 Fireworks Display. Councilmember Schroeder expressed his personal appreciation for this year's display. 6. Twin Lakes Redevelopment Project, Including Financial Plan (PF 3552) Mayor Klausing provided a brief summary and historical perspective of the project to-date, and anticipated future Planning Commission and City Council action dates. Councilmember Ihlan expressed her concern that given the requested action at tonight's meeting, without a Public Hearing being provided for additional and substantive public comment, she was recommending that the Council focus tonight's discussion on the financial feasibility of the project.
