REQUEST FOR COUNCIL ACTION Date: 09/27/04 <br />Item No.: 8. <br />Department Approval: Manager Reviewed Agenda Section <br />� �' �t <br />�� �� Hearings <br />Description: Cellars Wines & Spirits of Roseville II, Inc. application for an Off-Sale <br />Into�cating Liquor license at 1149 Larpenteur. <br />Background <br />Cellars Wines & Spirits has appliedfor an Off-Sale IntoxicatingLiquor License at 1149 Larpenteur <br />Ave. Arepresentativefrom Cellars Wines & Spiritswill attendthehearing to answerany questions <br />the Council may have. <br />The City currently has 9 Off-Sale intoxicating liquor licenses 10 are allowed. <br />Financial Implications <br />The revenue that is generated from the license fees collected is used to offset the cost of police <br />compliance checks, background investigations, enforcement of liquor laws, and license <br />administration. <br />Recommendations <br />It is recommended that the license be approved for the Period October 1,2004 thru December 3 l, <br />2005. <br />Council Action <br />Motion approving/denying the application for an Off-Sale Intoxicating Liquor License for Cellars <br />Wines & Spirits, at 1149 Larpenteur Ave Ave, for the year ending December 31,2005. <br />
