City Council Regular Meeting — 09/13/04 <br />DRAFT Minutes - Page 4 <br />412.741, "... every resolution shall state purpose and fund <br />from which paid..." Mayor Klausing directed City <br />Manager Beets' to review and respond to the impact of the <br />Statute language and use of purchase cards. <br />Mayor Klausing further addressed the procedural issue of <br />the time of adjournment of the August 16, 2004 meeting <br />and concerns expressed by Mr. Kysylyczyn for accuracy; <br />and directed City Manager Beets and Recording Secretary <br />Sheila Stowell to review their notes and report back to the <br />City Council accordingly. <br />D. Rose Massanz, 1007 Grandview <br />Ms. Massanz, as an active volunteer at the Harriet <br />Alexander Nature Center, respectfully requested that the <br />City Council consider continued full funding of the Nature <br />Center. <br />2. Approve Minutes Minutes <br />2.a Maschka moved, Schroeder seconded, approval of the 08/34/04 <br />August 23, 2004 regular City Council Meeting Minutes as Minutes <br />presented. <br />Roll Call <br />Ayes: Maschka, Ihlan, Kough, Schroeder and Klausing. <br />Nays: None. <br />3. Consider Consent Items Consent <br />Mayor Klausing noted that Consent Agenda Items 3.a and 3.d <br />had been removed for discussion purposes. <br />There were no additional changes to the Consent Agenda. <br />At the request of Mayor Klausing, City Manager Beets briefly <br />reviewed those items being considered under the Consent <br />Agenda. (3.b) <br />Roll Call <br />Ayes: Maschka, Ihlan, Kough, Schroeder and Klausing. <br />Nays: None. <br />3.b Approve Contracts/Purchases in Excess of $5,000 Contracts & <br />
