WHEREAS, Ramsey County Division of Emergency Management and Homeland <br />Security has indicated its willingness to coordinate these efforts should the municipality <br />so desire; and <br />WHEREAS, the draft plan will be shared with all municipalities, the County Board of <br />Commissioners and the State of Minnesota Department of Public Safety, Division of <br />Homeland Security and Emergency Management for coordination of state agency review <br />and comment on the draft; and <br />WHEREAS, final approval of the all-hazard mitigation plan will make the municipalities <br />and the County eligible to receive Hazard Mitigation Grant Program (HMGP) project <br />grants; and <br />WHEREAS, this resolution does not preclude the [city or township] fiYan � preparing its <br />own plan in the future should it desire to do so; Therefore Be It <br />RESOLVED, that the City of Roseville supports the county-wide all-hazard mitigation <br />planning effort, and, be it further <br />RESOLVED, that the City of Roseville wishes to join with the County in preparing and <br />maintaining the plan and recognizes that the final plan will apply within the City, and, be <br />it further <br />RESOLVED, that the City of Roseville requests that the Rarnsey County Division of <br />Emergency Management and Homeland Security coordinate all-hazard mitigation <br />planning efforts for the City in the future. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Member <br />, and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereo£ ,�n� <br />the following voted against the same: . <br />WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
