L The purpose of the studv was to: <br />• Understand the current quality and quantity of multi-family housing units <br />within the City of Roseville. <br />• Understand the current Roseville multi-family demographics and identify <br />target households for turnover and retention. <br />� Understand where Roseville's renter population comes from and where it <br />moves to. Understand the relations between household type, age, size, <br />income and the multi-family quality of life for the residents. <br />� Correlate the household needs (by household type) with those of the <br />adjoining neighborhoods. <br />• Develop a booklet or inventory of the multi-family demographics within <br />the City by Census Block or Insight Block that can used as an annual <br />benchmark to evaluate housing trends <br />?.�. The HRA entered into a contract with John Carpenter of Excensus to gather <br />demographic data relating to Roseville's Multi Family housing stock in 2003. <br />The following information was collected by Excensus and the Community <br />Development �'rT� staff over the course of 2003-04. <br />Using the City of Roseville building data base compatible with �I� <br />ARCVTEW map formats, and working with the City �I5 Coordinator, <br />developed a booklet inventory of the multi-family proj ects and units within <br />the City by Census Block or Insight Block that can used as a benchmark and <br />be updated annually. We provided the following statistics: <br />a.
