The five-
year capital improvement plan is adjusted accordingly to ensure funding of these improvements
is in place for construction. The attached spreadsheet and map detail improvements
recommended for 2005. We will review each of these projects with you at the work session.
The 2005 program incldes the replacement of the sanitary sewer lift station on Fulham near
Midland Hills Country Club. The majority of the cost of this replacement is to be borne by the
developer, as it is due tq their request of relocation of this station. The Paper Calmenson
Sanitary Lift Station is roposed to be eliminated due to reconstruction of Highway 280 by
Mn/DOT. Staff has be'n working on an agreement with the City of Lauderdale to allow
discharge by gravity to heir system. Costs for this connection will be covered by the Mn/DOT
project.
Staff will request the Cquncil at its October ' meeting to order feasibility studies for the
reconstruction of Lovel Avenue and Chatsworth Street and for South Owasso Boulevard
reconstruction. We wil be following Chapter 429 process for these improvements, as
assessments are being proposed.
We will review these prpj ects and answer questions at your work sessions.
Prepared By: Duane 5lchwartz
