Attachment A <br />Collaboration and Cooperation Policy <br />Purpose <br />The intent of this policy is to make clear to staff and the community that the City Council <br />encourages the searching out of opportunities to join with other governments, schools, and <br />private organizations both for- profit and non-profit, to provide needed services to the <br />community. <br />It is expected that those services will be of high value to the community and ultimately a wiser <br />use of all resources including but not limited to property taxes, human resources and existing city <br />infrastructure. <br />Scone <br />The scope of the policy is not to limit the areas of collaboration and cooperation as to encourage <br />reasonable exploration of any and all areas where Roseville taxpayers and other organizations <br />can mutually benefit. <br />Policv <br />The City of Roseville encourages staff to seek out and bring forward, areas and ideas which may <br />be explored and discussed in a public manner so that our community may benefit in both an <br />improved quality of life and a better economic use of all resources. <br />Im�lementation <br />The City will work wi�h other communities, public entities and applicable private parties to <br />search out, review, fund and implement where feasible, any areas of cooperation or collaboration <br />which would prove to b� significant benefit to all parties and which would fulfill the above stated <br />policy of the City of Roseville. <br />� <br />
