FOR CONSIDERATION OF ADOPTION BY THE CITY COUNCIL City of Roseville Mayor and Council and th e Roseville Housing &t Redevelopment Authority Board of Commissioners 2004-05 Principles of Communication Et Operation I. Statement of Philosophy The purpose of these principles is to keep the Roseville City Council and Housing �t Redevelopment Authority informed of activities relating to the City of Roseville. Aquality path of communication is an effective way to invoke trust and openness on policies, procedures and actions that affect the citizens of the City of Roseville. Effective and systematic communication of issues wi I I enable the City Council and the FfZA to work together productively on housing projects and policies. II. Declaration of Communication Principles and Partnership The City of Roseville Mayor and Council agrees to the following: + Provide one Council liaison at all official meetings of the HRA � Communicate, either verbally, by email or through written documentation, regarding the actions, policies and/or goals of the Council relating to the FfZA and housing issues in the community. ■ Include on one Council agenda each month an opportunity for the FfZA Commissioners, or their designated representative, to provide a verbal update regarding FfZA activities and upcoming actions. ■ Hold at least one annual "Housing Summit" for the purpose of discussing housing issues i n the City of Roseville.
