ADOPTED BY THE HR.A ON OCTOBER 19,2004 <br />City of Roseville Mayor and Council and th e Roseville Housing Et <br />Redevelopment Authority Board of Commissioners <br />2004-05 Principles of Communication �t Operation <br />I. Statement of Philosophy <br />The purpose of these principles is to keep the Roseville City Council and <br />Housing £t Redevelopment Authority informed of activities relating to the City <br />of Roseville. Aquality path of communication is an effective way to invoke <br />trust and openness on policies, procedures and actions that affect the citizens <br />of the City of Roseville. Effective and systematic communication of issues will <br />enable the City Council and the FfZA to work together productively on housing <br />projects and policies. <br />II. Declaration of Communication Principles and Partnership <br />The Roseville Housing tt Redevelopment Authority Board of Commissioners <br />agree to the following: <br />. Hold at least one annual "Housing Summit" in conjunction with the <br />Roseville City Council for the purpose of discussing housing issues in the <br />City of Roseville. <br />. Provide a one page explanation regarding each upcoming monthly HRA <br />meeting to be included within a Council Meeting packet and provide a <br />verbal summary of activities and upcoming actions at one Council <br />meeting each month. <br />. Provide, i n the council mailbox provided at City Hall, a paper copy of <br />each meeting packet at least four days prior to the monthly FfZA Board <br />meeting. <br />. Consult, at an official meeting of the City Council, with the Mayor and <br />Council on any issue relating to the HRA's legal authority to use eminent <br />domain rp ior to taking formal action. <br />. Provide a Housing Plan as part of the City of Roseville Comprehensive <br />Plan. <br />. Provide an annual FfZA work plan for review and comment by the Mayor <br />and City Council. <br />. Provide a detail budget for the upcoming year of the planned FfZA <br />activities and programs as part of the annual City budget process. <br />Adopted by the Board of the Roseville Housing 8 Redevelopment Authority on <br />October 1�2004. <br />
