City Council Regular Meeting —11/08/04
DRAFT Minutes - Page 5
E. Dino LoBaido, Executive Director, Roseville Visitor's
Association (RVA)
Mr. LoBaido offered an invitation to residents, business
owners and the City Council for the RVA's First Annual
Hospitality Awards to be held on November 17, 204 from
12:00 — 2:00 p.m. at the Radisson Hotel in Roseville. Mr.
Libido advised that this annual award ceremony was
designated to recognize front-line staff of local hotels and
restaurants.
F. John Kysylyczyn, 3083 N Victoria Street
Mr. Kysylyczyn commented on the sale of the fire truck,
since this item had been removed from tonight's agenda in
earlier action. Mr. Kysylyczyn opined that, with the fire
truck being the oldest historic item in Roseville, auctioning
it off was a travesty.
Mr. Kysylyczyn commented on the Oakcrest concerns,
noting that while a resolution might be a nice gesture on the
part of the City Council, it may prove futile, since MnDOT
had talked about these plans for the last four years.
G. A1 Sands, 2612 Aldine
Mr. Sands concluded his comments regarding the Oakcrest
neighborhood; requesting the State come before the
neighborhood to explain their rationale related to the
Oakcrest cross-over closing.
2.
