In the end, however, both Cities will have equal representation. <br />Staff recommendation: Traditionally, little citizen interest has been shown in GLWMO Board <br />positions. In recent years, multiple solicitations were required to obtain the necessary number of <br />members. In 2000, staff is recommending that Jim Stark be re-appointed for a term to expire in <br />2002. The current request to re-appoint Jim Stark is in keeping with the Council's policy for <br />appointments since Jim has not served 2 consecutive terms and has an excellent attendance and <br />participation record. <br />RECOMMENDED COUNCIL ACTION: <br />Approval of a motion approving the re-appointment of Jim Stark to the Grass Lake Watershed <br />Management Organization Board with a term to expire December 31, 2002 <br />Prepared by: Karl Keel <br />
