REQUEST FOR COUNCIL ACTION <br />DATE: 04/24/00 <br />ITEM NO.: �_ 2 <br />Department ApprovaL• Manager Reviewed: Agenda Section: <br />�`-'�'^'� � Consent <br />S� <br />Item Description: County Road D Construction Agreement with Shoreview <br />Background: On March 13, 2000, the City Council approved plans and specifications and <br />authorized the advertisement for bids for the 2000 Contract B: PMP Project. This project consists <br />of street reconstruction and Mill and Overlay. <br />County Road D is a part of our Mill and Overlay proj ect this year. Improvements are planned on <br />both the north and south sides of the roadway in both Roseville and Shoreview. Because Roseville <br />will be letting and administering this construction contract, an agreement is necessary with the City <br />of Shoreview to cover construction costs. The County Road D Construction Agreement is attached <br />for City Council review. <br />Financial implications: The total mill and overlay cost is estimated to be $20,375.00. 50% of this <br />amount, $10,187.50 is the responsibility of the City of Shoreview.
