The issue of reconsidering the County's request to crush concrete at the Kent Street site was <br />discussed with the City Council at their January Worksession meeting. Following this <br />discussion, the Council indicated that they would encourage Ramsey County to reapply for an <br />Interim Use Permit to crush concrete from the Larpenteur Avenue Reconstruction project. The <br />County is requesting reconsideration of this issue with the following modification from their <br />1996 request: <br />. The site would only be used for concrete crushing (not concrete production) and the crushed <br />material reused in Larpenteur Avenue as an aggregate base. <br />Attached is a completed planning application with material from the 1996 application. Please <br />schedule this item for consideration by the Planning Commission and City Council in March. <br />Please contact me if you need additional information or assistance with writing staff reports. <br />
