Financial Implications <br />There would be time spent on developing a training program and record keeping for the licensed alcohol seller, <br />in Roseville. <br />Staff Recommendation <br />Staff recommends holding the second reading of the proposed ordinance which includes: <br />. Responsible Beverage Server Training with penalty reduction for first offense; <br />. raising first offense seller fine to $250 for on-sale employees and $150 for off-sale employees; <br />. raising first offense licensee fine from $150 to $700; and <br />. setting receipt requirements for home delivery of alcoholic beverages; <br />and, to continue this item for final adoption to the City Council meeting of May 22, 2000 to allow for a final <br />draft and notification of current liquor license holders in the City. <br />Council Action Requested <br />Motion to continue final adoption of an ordinance amending Title III, Chapter 302 of the Roseville City Code <br />relating to liquor, allowing voluntary manager and server training, regulating home delivery of alcoholic <br />beverages, and changing penalties for violations, to the meeting of May 22, 2000 to allow for a final draft and <br />notification of current liquor license holders in the City of Roseville. <br />
