REQUEST FOR COUNCIL ACTION <br />DATE: 6/12/00 <br />ITEM NO: �_6 <br />Department Approval: Manager Reviewed: Agenda Section: Consent <br />�`-���c� <br />Item Description: Request for Temporary Non-Intoxicating Beer <br />License, July 4, 20C� Central Park <br />BACKGROUND <br />The Roseville Community Band has had the non-intoxicating beer license for the 4th of <br />July Celebration for the last fourteen years. Once again, they propose to sell beer for the <br />event at Central Park Lexington. They have had no incidents in the past. <br />POLICY OBJECTIVE <br />City policy allows scheduling non-profit organizations to use the city athletic fields as per <br />the attached policy. City Council authorizes all permits for the sale of 3.2% beer. All <br />intoxicating beverages are prohibited from consumption or sales in Roseville Parks. <br />FINANCIAL IMPLICATION <br />None. <br />STAFF RECOMMENDATION <br />Staff recommends the approval of the request for the temporary non-intoxicating beer <br />license. <br />COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED <br />Motion authorizing/denying the Roseville Community Band a non-intoxicating beer license <br />for July 4th Celebration at Central Park Lexington on July 4, 2000. <br />
