D RAFT <br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City <br />of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly called held at the City Hall on <br />Monday, the 25th day of September, 2000, at 6:30 P.M. <br />The following members were present: <br />and the following were absent: <br />Council Member introduced the following resolution and moved its <br />adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR 2916 <br />WOODBRIDGE STREET (DICK MASER) TO CONSTRUCT <br />A 1008 SQUARE FOOT DETACHED ACCESSORY STRUCTURE. <br />WHEREAS, Dick Maser, 29 16 Woodbridge Street has requested approval to <br />construct a 24 foot by 42 foot (1008 square foot) three stall detached garage on his <br />118,295 square foot residential lot; and <br />WHEREAS, the proposed structure (1,008 sq. ft.) does not exceed the maximum <br />allowed rear yard coverage of the 40% or in this case 1,200 square feet. <br />WHEREAS, the 1,008 square foot detached accessory structure will have three <br />parking bays, shop space, storage are for personal belongings; and <br />WHEREAS, the site, located in Comprehensive Plan District #5 (with a <br />Comprehensive Plan designation of L-R) is zoned R- 1, Single Family Residential <br />District; and <br />WHEREAS, the Roseville Planning Commission conducted a public hearing on <br />the request on Wednesday, September 13, 2000, and recommended approval (S-1) of the <br />requested conditional use permit (subj ect to conditions); and <br />WHEREAS, the Roseville City Council received the Planning Commission's <br />recommendation on Monday, May 22, 2000; and <br />WHEREAS, the Roseville City Council made the following findings: <br />The proj ect will not create additional traffic nor the need for additional public facilities. <br />With proper exterior building treatment, drainage, and landscaping, the building will not <br />have an impact on surrounding property or values. There appears to be no impact on <br />general health, safety, and public welfare. In addition, the proj ect complies with the <br />
