l�� <br />r/.,,,, <br />Proclamation <br />�/�//1@I�aS: Manufacturing has the largest total payroll of any business sector in <br />Minnesota, providing $18 billion in 1998 wages; and <br />�l�//1@I'�aS: Manufacturing produces $28.3 billion for the state economy and is the <br />second largest share (18.9%) of the gross product; and <br />�l�/�1@1�8S: Manufachuing exports brought nearly $9.2 billion into the Minnesota <br />economy in 1999; and <br />�//7@I�aS: Manufacturing provided nearly 445,891 high shill, high wage j obs in 1999, <br />which significantly contribute to Minnesota's high standard of living and <br />economic vitality; and <br />w�1 @l�aS: Manufacturing contributed nearly $232 million in corporate income taxes in <br />Minnesota, more than any other business sector, and about 30 percent of the <br />total corporate taxes in 1999; and <br />�/�/�7@I�aS: The City of Roseville is proud to be the home of 70 manufacturing <br />companies with $1.2 billion in sales and employing an estimated 4,000 <br />working residents. <br />Now Ther�efor�e, I, JOHN KYSYLYCZYN, Mayor of the Cify of ROSeville, <br />Minnesota, do hereby proclaim the week of October 16-22, 2000, to be <br />MANUFACTURERS WEEK in the City of Roseville. <br />In Witness Whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and <br />caused the Sea1 of the <br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />Minnesota to be �xed at the City office this Second <br />Day of October, Two Thousand. <br />MAYOR <br />CITY MANAGER <br />
