Inspector to document report and pass to Merrilee. <br />. Merrilee to list as resolved and file. <br />o If the violation in not corrected inspector to: <br />. Document report <br />. Take third picture and date it. <br />. Pass to Don. <br />o Office follow-up: decision is made as to course of action, options include: <br />. Direct contact with property owner is made (by Don) in order to attempt <br />a resolution. <br />. Administrative ticket is written and sent. <br />o Report is then passed to Merrilee for computer documentation, <br />inspection scheduling and filing. <br />. Court citation is written and sent (following discussions with the <br />Community Development Director and City Attorney). <br />o Report documentation is sent to City Attorney for follow-up. <br />MISCELLANEOUS <br />. If necessary to go onto private property (R1) inspector will knock at resident's <br />door to announce presence and discuss situation. <br />. Inspectors will wear an identification badge and either a hat or j acket with the <br />city logo. <br />. Inspectors will not look into windows. <br />. Inspectors will not walk into fenced yards or structures without permission of <br />property owners/residents. <br />. Timing is critical.
