1 <br />l�� <br />� <br />CITY CODE VIOLATION ENFORCEMENT <br />Flow Chart <br />A city code violation is received from a citizen or observed by staff <br />An inspector reviews the city records, and then visits the site. If a violation <br />exists, it is documented and photographed. <br />•� first notice is mailed giving either five days (grass and garbage), twelve days (vehicles), or thirt� � <br />days (building repair) to correct the violation. <br />If the violation is corrected the file is closed. <br />If the violation is corrected the tile is closed. <br />If the violation is correded the file is closed. <br />A re-inspection occurs <br />� <br />If the violation remains a second notice is sent giving an additional <br />5-30 days and warning of a possible 5100.00 fine or further le;al <br />adion. <br />A re-inspection occurs <br />If the violation remains, personal contact is initiated to attempt a <br />resolution. <br />if the violation is not corrected <br />If thought to be effective: an administrative ticket ($100.00) is issued �� <br />A re-inspectiml�t occurs <br />If the violation is corrected the file is closed� If the violation remains a Ramsey County Court citation is issued <br />and the case referred to Citv ,-�ttornev. <br />
