1 <br />2 <br />3 <br />4 <br />5 <br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING <br />OF CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />Attachment A <br />6 Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />7 Roseville, Minnesota, was duly held at the City Hall in said City on Monday, the 21st day of <br />8 December, 2009, at 6:00 p.m. <br />9 <br />10 The following members were present: and the following were absent: <br />11 <br />12 Councilmember introduced and moved the adoption of the following resolution: <br />13 <br />14 RESOLUTION NO. <br />15 RESOLUTION ORDERING PREPARATION OF FEASIBILITY REPORT FOR RICE STREET/ <br />16 TH 36 BRIDGE RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT <br />17 <br />18 WHEREAS, Ramsey County, Minnesota Department of Transportation, the City of Roseville <br />19 and surrounding communities are working on a solution for improvements to the Rice <br />20 Street/Highway 36 interchange to address existing and future safety and operational deficiencies; <br />21 and <br />22 <br />23 WHEREAS, it is proposed to improve Rice Street between County Road S and County Road S- <br />24 2 by one or more of the following installations: bituminous paving, concrete curb and gutter, <br />25 pathway, bridge construction, signal reconstruction, storm sewer, and necessary appurtenances, <br />26 and to assess the benefited property for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant <br />27 to Minnesota Statutes, Section 429.011 to 429.111: <br />28 <br />29 NOW THEREFORE SE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Roseville, <br />30 Minnesota that the proposed improvements are referred to the City Engineer for study and she is <br />31 instructed to report to the Council with all convenient speed, advising the Council in a <br />32 preliminary way as to whether they should best be made as proposed, and the estimated cost of <br />33 the improvements as recommended. <br />34 <br />35 The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />36 and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following <br />37 voted against the same: . <br />38 <br />39 Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />40 <br />
