Attachment E <br />4o Discussion among staff, Mr. Vavoulis and Councilmembers included various schematics of the <br />4� tower in consideration of aesthetics; inability to increase the structural capacity of the existing <br />42 tower based on engineering specifications; consideration of frequencies and potential conflicts; <br />43 additional companies seeking to co-locate and applicable provisions; citizen needs to have a <br />4� nice-looking City Hall campus versus commercial needs of Clearwire; and various perspectives <br />�� of individual Councilmembers as to the aesthetics of the tower location. <br />Councilmembers concurred that they were supportive of working with Clearwire to find a space <br />47 on campus to make it work, but not necessarily that location. <br />4� Pust suggested denial of this Conditional Use request. <br />49 Mr. Trudgeon suggested that, rather than denying the request, they table action to allow <br />5o additional work between staff and the application for an alternate location; recognizing that as a <br />5� land owner, the City Council would make the final decision. <br />52 Pust moved, Johnson seconded, TABLING consideration of a Conditional Use for locating a <br />5: 150' telecommunication tower facility for Clearwire, LLC, for further staff discussion with the <br />54 applicant on alternate locations on the City Hall campus. <br />55 Mayor Klausing encouraged individual Councilmembers to physically review the site and visual <br />56 impacts of the proposed location from the street. <br />5� Roll Call <br />58 Ayes: Roe; Pust; Johnson; Ihlan; and Klausing. <br />59 Nays: None. <br />Page 2 of 2 <br />
