M ember Roe i ntroduced the fol I owi ng resol uti on and moved i ts adopti on: Resdution No. 10541 To DefiinetheAppantment and Re�appantment Prooess, for the M embersaf the Board af the Housing & Redevelopment Authority I n and For the City af Rose�rille WHEREAS, the Housing & Redevelopment Authority I n and For the City of Roseville (HRA) was establ i shed by the Ci ty Counci I i n 2002 to provi de housi ng programs and promote safe, d�t, and affordable housi ng options for the community; and WH EREAS, the Ros�vi I I e H RA Board i s composed of seven resi dent members and i s a separate entity with legal authority established under M N Statutes469.001 to 469.047; and WH EREAS, the governi ng state statutes establ i sh that appoi ntments to the Rosevi I I e H RA Board are made by the M ayor, subj ect to the approval of the City Counci I; and WH EREAS, the M ayor and Ci ty Counci I desi re to def i ne an open and col I aborati ve process by whi ch appoi ntments and re�appoi ntments to the Rosevi I I e H RA Board wi I I be made; and WH EREAS, the appoi ntment and reappoi ntment process for the Rosevi I I e H RA Board has not been speci f i cal I y def i ned to thi s poi nt; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by theRosevilleCity Council asfollows:
