PROCEDURE STATEM ENT: � When a vacancy occurs on the H RA Board the fol I owi ng procedure wi I I be used. A. The M ayor and Ci ty Counci I, at a regul ar me�i ng, wi I I establ i sh a de�adl i ne for rec� vi ng appl i cati ons, and the date(s) of the Counci I M e�i ng(s) to i ntervi cw the appl i cants. The ti me b�ween the appl i cati on de�adl i ne and the i ntervi c�vs wi I I be no more than th��303 days. B. HRA Board vacancies will be advertised in the Citv's leqal nc�vspaper and, if different, the Roseville Revic�v Qo��"° �^^�� n°^,��°�°r� at least two (2) times before the application de�ad I i ne. V acanci es w i I I al so be advert i sed on the Ci ty of Rosev i I I e' s Cabl e Tel ev i si on Channel and posted on the City Hall Bull�in Board. C. A ppl i cati ons recei ved after the establ i shed deadl i ne but bef ore the establ i shed date of appl i cant i ntervi e�vs may be consi dered, at the di screti on of the M ayor. D. The names and appl i cati ons of appl i cants wi I I be provi ded to the M ayor and Ci ty Counci I, and to the publ i c, after the appl i cati on deadl i ne. E. Appl i cants wi I I be i ntervi e�ved at the establ i shed meeti ng(s) by the M ayor and the Ci ty Counci I. � The Chai r or desi qnee of the H RA Board wi I I be i nvi ted to attend and parti ci pate i n the i ntervi e�vs. The i ntervi ews wi I I be open to the publ i c. The M ayor may el ect to el i mi nate any appl i cants f rom consi derati on, w i th r�nabl e noti ce to such appl i cants and the Ci ty Counci I, pri or to the establ i shed date of appl i cant i ntervi e�vs. F. The M ayor w i I I make appoi ntments to the H RA Board f rom among the qual i f i ed appl i cants at a subsequent City Counci I mee�i ng fol lowi ng the mee�i ng at which the i nterviews are conducted. G. The Ci ty Counci I w i I I vote on approval of the M ayor' s appoi ntments at the same mee�i ng at whi ch the appoi ntments are made. H. I f not enough M ayoral appoi ntments f rom among the qual i f i ed appl i cants are approved by the Ci ty Counci I to f i I I al I of the associ ated vacanci es, the remai ni ng vacanci es wi I I be r�adverti sed as descri bed i n A-E above. H RA Board appl i cati ons wi I I be kept on f i l e for one ye�ar. I f duri ng that ti me a vacancy occurs on the HRA Board or any standing City Advisory Commission, all applicants for the HRA Board, and all applicants for any standing City Advisory Commissions, whose applications are on f i l e at the ti me of the vacancy, wi I I be advi sed of the vacancy i n wri ti ng.
