The following members were present: Cedarholm,Keene,Carlson,Shields & Flanagan and the follmfing were absent: None Trustee Shields introduced and moved the adoption of the following resolution: RESOLUTION NO. 320 ACCEPTING BID FOR PROJECT NO. 4. WHEREAS pursuant to advertisement for bids for Sanitary Sewer Improvement No.3, Project No. 4. according to the plans and speci.fications thereof on file in the office of the Clerk of said Village, said bids were received on December 29, 1959, at 11:30 A.M. opened and tabulated according to law and the following bids were received complying with the advertisement: Orfei & Mariani & Sons Peter Lametti Construction Co. Bianconi Construction Co. F. Morettini Construction Co. Nodland Construction Co. Lametti & Sons Barbarossa & Sons Beatson & Kelly Austin P. Keller Robert VI. Moore $2)2,076.90 217,737.88 238,4.67.00 259,327.75 337,156.50 249,754.75 338,996.00 217,605.00 247,007.50 223,220.00 WHEREAS it appears that Beatson & Kelly of St. Paul is the lowest responsible bidder, at the tabulated price of $217,697.50, N01~ THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Roseville, Minnesota: 1. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with Beatson & Kelly for $217,697.50 in the name of the Village of Roseville for Sanitary Sewer Improvement No. J, Project No.4, according to the plans and specifications thereof heretofore approved by the Village Council and on file in the office of the Village Clerk. 2. The Village Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their bids except the deposits of the successful bidder and the next l~Jest bidder shall be retained until a contract has been signed. The motion was seconded by Trustee Carlson and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: All and the followi.ng voted against: None whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
