Also, the HRA
provides additional programs to encourag e families to stay and grow in the
community. The services of the HRC si nce 2000 have assisted 2,717 residential
property owners which have resulted in over $4.13 million in additional private
investment in Roseville homes througho ut the community. Many of these loan
dollars were leveraged with ot her bank or owner funding.

As of the end of 2006, participation in the HRC continues to increase with 489
residents served with 849 different services in 2006. This is a healthy increase over
2005 with 434 residents being served with 767 different services.

The technical visits remains a positive assi stance to residents with 247 home visits
(average of 21 visits per month) as of the end of 2006 compared to 234 in 2005.

The HRA ownership loan program signifi cantly increased in 2006 compared to
2005 with 21 loans issued in the amount of $282,492. In 2005 only 7 loans were
issued in the amount of $56,478. The increase is likely the result of additional
marketing and the HRA’s ch ange in maximum loan amount for the program.

The new HRA loan program la unched this year with a target of families with
incomes of 120% of median income or less has been only modestly used. Three
loans were issued in 2006 for a total of $89,895 in loan funds.

2660 Civic Center Drive
Roseville, MN 55113
Phone: 651-792-7015 • Fax: 651-792-7070
http://www.cityofroseville click on Housing & Redevelopment Authority
Email: HRA@ci.roseville.mn.us
