Housing Plan – 2005 Page 2 Roseville HRA <br />The Housing Plan includes the following: <br /> <br />Section 1 . - Housing Vision Statement – provides a statement about the <br />preferred future, an expression of optimi sm focused on what the City’s housing <br />should look like in the next 10 years and beyond. <br /> <br />Section 2 . - Needs Assessment - provides a summary of current housing <br />conditions, forecasts of demographic information and an indication of the <br />importance of housing investment within the City. <br /> <br />Section 3. - Housing Goals – establishes goals and sets policy regarding what <br />needs to be done to achieve the City’s housing objectives. <br /> <br />Section 4. - Action Steps\Implementation Strategies - outlines the programs <br />that may be implemented to achieve each goal. <br /> <br />Section 5. - Benchmarking – provides a framework to assess how the City is <br />achieving its goals and meeting its housing objectives. It is understood that as <br />housing structures age and the market ne eds change, so will the goals and action <br />steps in the Housing Plan. <br /> <br />Section 1. HRA Housing Vision Statement <br /> <br />To provide residents with a high quality of life and sense of community, Roseville <br />will have safe, high quality housing balanced in price and product for people of all <br />ages, with resources to effective community services.
