HOUSING & REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY <br />IN AND FOR THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />SERVICES AGREEMENT FOR THE <br />HOUSING PROGRAM COORDINATOR POSITION <br />THIS IS AN AGREEMENT entered into the _ day of March, 2008 by and between <br />the Housing & Redevelopment Authority in and for the City of Roseville, Minnesota, hereinafter <br />referred to as the HRA, and the City of Roseville, a governmental municipality organized and <br />existing under the laws of the State of Minnesota, hereinafter referred to as the City. <br />WITNESSETH: <br />WHEREAS, the HRA desires to contract with the City for the services of administrative <br />staff in the form of the Housing Program Coordinator to support the administrative undertakings <br />of the HRA. <br />NOW THEREFORE, the parties hereto do mutually agree as follows: <br />I. Scope of Services. The Housing Program Coordinator position assigned by the City <br />to the HRA shall perform necessary and requested services relating to the actions and activities <br />of the HRA as outlined below: <br />A. Administering housing programs offered by the HRA <br />B. Assisting the HRA Executive Director and HRA Board in implementing the strategies, <br />programs and obj ectives of the HRA housing plan; <br />C. Serving as liaison with the Metropolitan Council, and housing partners regarding programs <br />and services <br />D. Other administrative duties as directed by the Executive Director and HRA Board. <br />II. Term. This agreement shall be effective upon the approval of the HRA Board of <br />Directors and the City Council and shall continue for one calendar year subj ect to written <br />renewal by the parties for subsequent one year terms. <br />III. Compensation. The fees for the City services shall be paid as a transfer of funds <br />from the HRA to the City of Roseville prorated on a monthly basis. The maximum total fee for <br />2008 is $55,000 which includes an estimated 29 hours per week of the Housing Program <br />Coordinator's as approved by the HRA Board. <br />IV. Indemnification. The parties shall indemnify and hold harmless each other and their <br />officials, agents, and employees from any loss, claim, liability, and expense (including <br />reasonable attorney's fees and expenses of litigation) arising out of any action of the respective <br />parties in the performance of the service of this contract. <br />
