• 7�:XXX Charlotte Street: <br />o Expenditure - $186.16 <br />■ House/trim paint <br />o Purpose — Staff received numerous and very vocal complaints about a house <br />lowering neighborhood property values because of its extensive peeling and <br />fading paint The elderly gentleman agreed the house needed repair but was <br />on a small %ed income and claimed he could not afford to have the house <br />painted. Staff purchased house/trim paint, the elderly man repainted the <br />home over the next few months. <br />o Community Beneft - a blighted structure depressing neighborhood property <br />values and causing dissention in the neighborhood was eliminated. Note: the <br />abatement process would have consumed numerous hours of both city staff <br />and elected officials.
