9. Information Reports & Other Business (Verbal Reports by Staff and Board Members): e. Discuss Joint Meeting of the Roseville City Council and the Housing & Redevelopment Authority — Apri121, 2008 Mr. Trudgeon provided the board with the material that will be presented to the City Council at the joint meeting between the HRA and the City Council scheduled for Apri121, 2008. Chair Majerus encouraged the board members to attend the joint meeting. Mr. Trudgeon summarized the code enforcement discussion from the previous City Council meeting and told the board that he anticipated the code enforcement discussion would continue at the joint meeting between the HRA and City Council on April 21. £ Ames Lake Information Mr. Trudgeon provided the board with informational materials on the Ames Lake project completed by Aeon. g. Board and Staff Reports Mr. Trudgeon noted that the City Council had passed the Rental Registration ordinance. Mr. Trudgeon explained that the Rental Registration program will register rental properties with 1-4 units and would most likely begin on July 1, 2008. Mr. Trudgeon asked for a member from the board to sit on the Finance subcommittee. Motion: Chair Majerus moved, seconded by Member Millasovich to appoint Member Masche to serve to on the Finance subcommittee. Ayes: 5 Nays: 0 Motion carried. Mr. Trudgeon noted that the City is receiving applications for the HRA vacancy and a new board member would most likely be joining the HRA at their June meeting. Mr. Trudgeon indicated that Member Pust was in attendance as the HRA representative at the last Comprehensive Plan Steering Committee meeting. Mr. Trudgeon told the board to expect the Housing Chapter of the Comprehensive Plan to be brought to their June meeting for review. Mr. Trudgeon noted that staff is continuing to work on updating HRA housing programs. Ms. Kelsey asked the board to update their contact information. Ms. Kelsey provided the board with an article on green homes of the future, a copy of the HousingLink, a handout on programming offered by the Rondo Land Trust and a handout about a Public Works workshop on water smart landscaping. Ms. Kelsey also provided an article on foreclosure prevention workshops. Ms. Kelsey updated the board on the status of the Westwood Village I Housing Improvement Area. 10.
